It has been our privilege to read, review and study Live to Love by Krystal Kuehn. Uniquely she has put into “10 Powerful Ways” applicable truths from 1 Corinthians 13.
Living a loving life in our world today is at times risky, painful and at best difficult. Many times in our lives we feel overwhelmed, too many things to do, too many places to go, to many people to see, and living a life of love can be the least thing on our list of things to do. Our lives are all about at best sustaining, but more often we resolutely harden ourselves, overpoweringly gainfully obtain; we use terms such as “you owe me”, “what have you done for me lately?”, etc. This type of described lifestyle and these terms are very familiar of our society today. We all need time for reading, reflecting to gain insight, of not what is most important, but who is. Living a life of love does more then expressing itself to others, it enriches our own very beings. To quote Krystal “As long as you keep giving it away you will be filled to overflowing.”
Citing 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8, Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. 6It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. 8Love will last forever . . . . . .
Our society confuses love and lust. Unlike lust, God’s kind of love is directed outward toward others, not inward toward ourselves. It is utterly unselfish. This kind of love goes against our natural inclinations. It is impossible to have this love unless God helps us set aside our own natural desires so that we can love and not expect anything in return. Thus, the more we become like Christ, the more love we will show to others.
Live to Love is an excellent help, along with God’s help to set aside our own natural desires so that we can love and not expect anything in return.
Good reading! Great loving!

Krystal Kuehn's book is a quiet, positive, easily understood journey through introspection to a goal of acceptance, happiness, and peace. An examination of love, its definitions, and its applications to daily life, the book guides the reader to love of self and one's neighbor - all at a leisurely, measured pace. Bernard P.
"This book helps us to have excellent retrospective to self-analysis of our relationships with family and others. It encourages us to look at the concept of love from all perspectives. It helps us to self-reflect and examine our relationships with others. And as an added benefit, the workbook gives us a chance to review and reinforce these concepts.
I would highly recommend this book to help us solidify our interpersonal relationships through improved self-esteem and thoughtful selfless caring for others." Jerry K.
This book helped me to understand the true meaning of love. Lisa R.
Your book has forever changed the way I understand love. I never knew how much I communicated (or don't) every day and in so many ways. Because of what I learned, I am so much more aware of love all around me. It's given me the opportunity to learn about myself and how I relate to people in my life. Now I feel I can have more love, real love in my life, because I know how to communicate it to my husband, children, friends, and coworkers. One of my friends told me that there is something different about me. My husband and I have been getting along better than ever. My children notice I'm much more kind and patient with them. Thank you so much! Jackie P.
There's an old saying that says if you want love, you have to give love. But I didn't know how to. After reading your book, I learned the love principles and when I started giving out love, I ended up falling in love with the man of my dreams. This works! Kelly S.
When I first got this book, I hoped to improve my relationship with my family. This material is so good that I ended up using it as a teaching tool to help all of us learn about how to be more loving. We remind each other of the love affirmations all the time. It's really brought us together....Chris Z.
I wasn't sure if anything could save my marriage and my friend recommended that I read this book. It changed the way I handled our problems, and it helped me to express love better. I didn't know there was so much I could do to make my husband love me again. I can't thank you enough.
